-rare

-some case is recurrent vaginal bleeding (more rare).

-first menstruation normally appears approximately two and a half years after the onset of breast development.

– due to unusual sensitivity of the endometrium to very low prepubertal levels of oestrogens

Not to confuse with:

Pseudomenstrual in newborn which occurs few days after delivery due to hormone effect from mother.

For that 2 years old, still need to rule out:

-NAI

-UTI

-Straddle injury

-Scratching or foreign body.

-Rule out bleeding from anus.
